Description
Travoprost is used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open-angle type) or other eye diseases (e.g., ocular hypertension). Lowering high pressure inside the eye can help prevent blindness. This medication works by regulating the flow of fluid within the eye to maintain normal pressure.
It is used for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Glaucoma is an eye condition that causes damage to the optic nerve (necessary for optimal vision) as a result of unusual high eye pressure.
TRAVATAN EYE DROPS contains Travoprost which belongs to the group of medicines called Prostaglandin analogues.
